Jan 14: Linens

Okay, forget what I said about packaging yesterday -  it's what's inside that counts, right? Stephen and I opened our gift today - a lovely table cloth and matching cloth napkins. I love imagining a summer table set up on our (imaginary) deck, with unobstructed views of the woods, corn on the cob on the barbeque, and good friends to share it all with. 

Stephen has confusedly agreed to my demands that we add a deck some day. He doesn't quite understand why I am so insistent (especially because we have a porch on the front), but I know he'll understand once we enjoy our first warm evening around the dinner table.  Lucky for me the contractors have convinced him sooner is better than later (as in this spring). I'm not arguing.

Until then, I'm keeping these wrapped up so we don't get construction dust all over them.
