We finally got the rain we'd been waiting for. It's August and the leaves are starting to turn because it's been so hot and it hasn't rained in forever. (I can't say "and dry" because it's been wicked humid).
This is the storm from our back mini-deck. The thunder doesn't sound nearly as loud through the iphone microphone and the rain seems half as strong... but it was a lovely stormy night and our plants were very pleased for the soak.
(Also, isn't the view from the back of our house lovely??)
