Happy March! Can you believe it's only 2 weeks until we change our clocks? Another new month in our house - lots of "new" things coming up: a trip to Vieques Puerto Rico, a new couch, new houseguests (my parents).
We have a new bookcase in the front room, but we haven't put anything on it yet. I think we have unpacking fatigue. Today, I gave Kitty a new mouse to play with - he's crazy for the fake mice with shakers inside. And immediately, he batted it right under the bookcase. After retrieving it for him, he took it right back over and shoved it under again. Why, Kitty, why?? He seems to prefer to play with the toys in obstacle courses - between the legs of the dining room chairs is another. He's going to be very unhappy when we do finally put books on it and we can't move it over to free the mice. Not a good new obstacle course selection, buddy.
