We aren't going to put in the new kitchen lights or ceiling until we have gone 3 weeks without a leak. We just have had too many to be confident in closing it all up.
We made it 9 days.
Today, the bathtub grout disintegrated upon a light scrub (???) and we got water straight into the kitchen. They fixed it with a silicone apoxy, so all should be well. But so frustrating! I'd like to have a ceiling, please! It makes you realize how simple and seemingly-flimsy floors are when you can see up into them. I prefer the denial that some nice dry wall provides.
