April 2: Spring

Spring is finally (FINALLY!) here - with warmed temperatures in the 60s and sunshine. You can even see it in the woods in the backyard - a faint sheen of green coming up from the ground. At last! I'm so relieved and at the same time, I already start thinking - we're only getting closer and closer to winter again. Months away! yikes. I think I am scarred from this past year's experiences. I need to focus on "being present" to make sure I soak all this warmness up. It's pretty easy when it's so lovely up here - our first spring in the "country"!
