April 10: New Toy

Stephen's mom pointed out that Kitty seemed like he needed some new toys. While our apartment in the city was a cat wonderland with scratching posts and catnip galore, most of the distractions didn't make the move. So I went out and got him a few new things to play with, including this furry animal thing that clips to the doorframe via elastic -- a toy he can play by himself. And he had a ton of fun playing with it - flipping over, jumping in the air, "killing" it with his back paws, and eventually trying to carrying his prey away... much to his chagrin when he figured it out it was attached.
